No shade to judgement day it's a great movie. But mate the underlying plotline the action sequences ,the aesthetic and even the progression of each act is different, moreover there is even difference in conclusion.

Hi Guys!! it was hilarious seeing you both guessing the plot of the movie 😂 . BTW Let me clear you it's about a game designed by this man Shekher and it's the game launch party in this scene particularly. And as the movie proceeds the villain of the game somehow comes live and kills Shekhar and so his son brings the hero of the game who apparently looks like his father and then the rest of things occur.

Haha so in this movie, SRK is a game developer and this song is during the launch party of the game. In this song, he isn't a robot. Him and his wife are dancing while their son tests out the new VR game. The characters come out of the video game due to some error and the hero in the game is designed to look like SRK so the one in Chammak Chalo is the game character whereas the one in this song is just a human.

To simplify your theory; Shahrukh Khan plays a double role as a human and a robot. In this song it's the human. In Chammak Challo, it was the Robot. The child is the human SRK's child, Kareena Kapoor plays his wife. The robot comes in a little later, in the film it's the human SRK's company that makes the robot and this song is the robot/game's release after-party.
