Guan Yu was responsible for one of my favorite runs. I got Athena attack with Long Spin and Quick Spin, and I would just throw out a Spin, and then run forward and hide in it while I charged another Spin. I called it "Deflecto Discs."

Sometimes it feels like the game pours it on you, and other times it just deprives you of anything you need. Recently had an insane hera run with parting shot+phalanx, with tons of legendary cast enhancements, dislodge etc. Then I tried to get an Ares cast running and in two attempts couldn't get hunting blades or anything buffing casts. Game giveth and the game taketh away, I guess.

The Chaos Boon Rarity increase was such a dark horse helper that Haelian totally forgot it existed. I'm assuming that plus Gods' Pride was enough to simulate running Gods' Legacy lol. That was a fun run; well done as usual!

I think the last Hades dialogue before he dies, "You owe this victory to your relatives" will show if you get more than a certain amount of duos and legos. It also showed up in the run that I got like 5-6 duos and 2 legos.

Guan Yu was really strong playing Keyboard and Mouse because you can charge a spin and then fire it by dashing and have it still shoot towards your target instead of the direction of your dash so you can charge and fire twice as fast. Feels kinda awkward on a controller.

Even dash strike builds do amazingly with Guan Yu. It has higher base dash strike damage, and it pairs well with occasional use of the special or spins. I was getting crits on all three Serrated Point hits with Deadly Reversal. Reckless Reflex with +3 dashes. Like 333 damage crits *3 *3. Takes a while to set up, but I used to do it lots so I wanted to try it. Artemis and Charged on Special too, so I had a backup that carried me to that point.

Day 2 of commenting about Rare Crop In this episode, Haelian uses a heroic attack as the main source of damage, so Rare Crop is not an option... is wrong. Rare Crop is always an option. Haelian also mentions that Rare Crop should be buffed to not be able to effect already heroic boons. I would agree, but Rare Crop is perfect. Sublime. Absolute. Supreme. To say or even to imply it needs a buff is to speak BLASPHEMY AGAINST RARE CROP, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR Anyway, no rare crop today.

You 100% can get Duo Boons in a trial. What you can't get is a Duo Boon specifically from the two gods who are in the trial.

Its a nice combo. I want to say you would want to go for Ares attack just for the chance of Dire Misfortune and Impending Doom, then Athena special to trigger the super stacker dooms.

Enemies don't follow their patterns properly at the end of a charm. Hades can just instantly spin or spear toss without a windup when the charm ends and hit you out of nowhere

This video is from a year and a half but does anyone know why splash dash doesn't enable sea storm to be obtained? Like, it doesn't open it up. I think it makes no fucking sense because you can trigger sea storm when you have splash dash, lightning strikes after you dash, so why is it?
