By the time i reached Isshin, I had already mastered the game's mechanics. I got him on the second try. Sekiro is like a rhythm game. Every enemy has a pattern that you can listen to. I learned than from Genichiro

I mean the entire story plays out over one ingame day in Sekiro, so Isshin is mere hours away from dying to his illness and the Ministry is so fucking scared of him that they only dare to invade ashina when they are certain that he has passed away. From games mostly have these big legends who are Gods or direct descendents from gods and over here we have Isshin who is a mere human that has sharpened his skill to utmost perfection and can stand up to any of them. Probably my favorite Fromsoft boss.
