i'd argue that the only real bad ending is shura. return is the best ending straight up, while severance and purification are much more bittersweet but not outright bad

The chained ogre one is so true. Beat lady butterfly in 2 attempts but it took me 25 to get past chained ogre. Literally more than my isshin ashina attemps.

i think people find chained ogre hard is because he comes pretty early in the game and he only has grab attacks so you can't parry it

I got to lady butterfly before ogre, killing her took 2 days, 100+ attempts (also like 20 for the drunkard). Ogre was dead in like 5 attempts​ Also that mandatory spear guy was a real pain in the ass (no mikiri)

I replayed today, sword saint Isshin took like 5 attempts but the fatty in front of Butterfly killed me nonstop for like an hour. I think after dying to the hard bosses over and over the moveset is so ingrained in your head, you cannot forget it. But the easier ones, you need to relearn. Edit: I did not kill Demon the normal way. F*ck that guy

Ichimonji double saved my ass against SSI and inner genichiro and inner SSI, majorly many boss fights, even owl (father). Only to recover posture and do bit of damage. Its the perfect combat art to ever exist. Its the best.

I think all Combat Arts are useful in the right situation, one of my favorites to use being Praying Strikes (Exorcism), but Shadowrush and Mortal Draw are some of the coolest that's for sure. On top of the fact that mid-air Mortal Draw has the same damage as the empowered version. (Please let me know if this got patched.) Entertaining video. :)

Ashina clan's military is run under lord genichiro, isshin to wolf isn't foe nor enemy. He is a respectable samurai of his day so if he finds chill guys like wolf he will return their energy. Also because isshin is retired completely by the time we meet him he doesn't do anything and his viewpoints do not align with genichiro's dream of restoring ashina to it's glory either. But genichiro controls the whole ashina military who follow genichiro's goal of kidnapping the divine heir and neutralizing anybody who get in the way of his plan. Thats why almost everybody actively participating in the ashina clan's rule attack wolf.

Emma is only against you when you do the Shura ending- that is basically Wolf becoming immortal demon with both Mortal blades in his possession- the only blades which could slay an immortal. I don't blame Emma for going against Wolf, especially knowing that she has trained with sword all her life to fight Shura which might possibly re- surface in the sculptor. But sure- Fire keeper for the win.

Bruh. High monk is too good against the purple Mfs, genichiro, well, every mf who does a sweep attack. The sakura dance is goated for lightning reversal, whirlwind slash is a good AOE if mortal blade is not available, ashina cross is good for the tanky mfs if mortal draw if not available. I actually prefer the ashina cross rather than mortal draw as the health damage is more for the emblems used. Ichimonji and Ichimonji double are Goated against medium and slow speed bosses and effective to punish the speedy bosses when they do heavy attacks. Exorcism(monk smash) is a good one to interupt enemy attacks. I do agree that overall, Mortal blade is THE Goated one.
