When using the jello o gelatin, it does work better if it sits in the fridge or cooler overnight. It oes toughen the chicken up considerably

here a secret. chicken has arginine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. which is 9/10 of the amino acids catfish need to grow. it almost works as good as fresh cut skipjack. i always catch more fish on fresh cut skipjack. but that could be it just stays on the hooks better after descale it and hook it through the skin. compared to a yellow bass hitting a piece of chicken and stripping it off. but chicken is good trotline bait also. but if yellows get there before catfish they can strip it all. i think the jello can thicken up the chicken and make it stay on hook better but only when i cut the chicken put it in a bag with the jello and then bury the bag in ice chest full of ice and have the ice chest in fridge overnight. nice vid and fish.

Great video, as always. Tried cut Raccoon this weekend. Didn’t catch anything, but didn’t catch anything on shrimp either. Haven’t given up on the Raccoon just yet. Will try mixing jello with it. It’s a stringy meat and really stays on the hook.

As always, great content. I am retired, I travel with my van & 18 ft Lund. I am from the other side of the Rockies and am satisfied with my Flatbed catches. PB is 41 lbs, not a monster but fine with me. What's left on my bucket list are big Blues, basically are none out west. I was headed to your area until the Hurricane hit. I am at Texoma to try and get a 35 lb or better. Wrong time of year on this body of water but, will stay in water cools. So far ? 18 lb my best, for me ? Nice fish can I have been supplementing my shad and fishing chicken on another rod. No blues on the Chicken but some very nice 3-7lb Channels. Thank you for all your tips they are invaluable. Your chicken will be tougher if you cut long ways not across the Brest. Then cut 1” squares. Strawberry cool add with garlic powder sprinkled with allium power yo make it tougher. Only bait I’ve used for 10 years or longer. Cheapest bait to.

I've used anice and garlic with the chicken anice seemed to work really well as far as scent and outdone garlic when I've used both. Garlic and jello haven't had much luck with. Am wanting to try chicken n coffee grounds seen some vids of it they cleaning house. Thank you as always for your videos tutorials basically everything you provide for all of us. Tight lines brother

Oh, yeah. Because apex predators in the water eat lots of jello and chicken naturally. Never once seen a flathead cough up a tyson package after I caught it. They're not Cosby fans either, soo....

@@bosstankproductions1304 to be fair I will agree that chicken does catch fish but at least in my area all that’s interested are small channels and bullheads. Take some big cut bait or live fish and you catch blues and flatheads everytime

Yeah channel cats love chicken breast in my area. The blue cats love the live bait and cut bait. Gizzard shad works really well both live and cut!!
