Yes 7800 to 8000 is about it for that engine. And Mike builds some killer no prep engines. That's who built Billy's SRC channel Falcon engine and he use to build Joey Beater Bomb engines.

The old school method of testing the exhaust gas temperatures are still effective as hell. Yeah it’s primitive to some of the younger generation but it still works.

It looks to be drive shaft RPM. Not sure why it is so jagged...maybe electronic interference.

Way too many pie cuts looks like crack city. And you really want the waste gates up by the exhaust housing. Turn the turbo 90 degrees so the compressor inlet is facing in front of the driver side tire and the exhaust is flowing straight out in front of the passenger side. Those bends are detrimental of efficient flow. It would also eliminate a bunch of unnecessary bends of the exhaust manifold. The compressor outlet would point directly at the throttle body. I would seriously redesign that set up. Looks more like an attempt at art work, than thoughtfully engineered for flow. Should be on an episode of polishing turds.

Wondered about the wastegate position... always thought that they should be in line with the flow - so it's trying to force them open, rather than perpendicular to the flow.
