What a nice video. I like all the fresh produce and seafood at the market everything looks so cheap and organic from my perspective😉. Aisha is like a breath of fresh air, I imagine myself chatting with her and eating. She is so much fun! Perhaps she could use banana leaves for wrapping instead of the plastic bag. Much love ❤

Great vid. As always, I love your market and cooking visa with Aisha. I keep forgetting that Aisha is a West African Aunty in training. The way she carries stuff on her head is elegant. 👍 Good lord, the market looked busy af. The food looked good even though I'm not a fan of okra/okro. I like seafood though. I hope you make more market and cooking vids with Aisha. ... Also do a livestream! 👍

@@JasmineAmaa well I did it for health reasons. In 1999 I was 165 pounds which is 74 kg. And then 3 years later I was 339 pounds which is 154 kg. I became morbidly obese, which means I was severely and dangerously overweight. When I became vegan I lost a lot of weight. And it healed my acid reflux disease. Also my sleep apnea went away. I used to sleep with a pap machine just to help me breathe. I was in very bad health. The vegan lifestyle saved my life. I was also borderline diabetic. But not anymore, at 42 years old I am 192 pounds which is 88 kilos. I don't even exercise, the vegan diet keeps me in shape. I guarantee you if you try it you will feel better. Hope this helps.

@Frank-Bediko62 Жыл бұрын
@@KenyattaGross Yes. My partner is from originally from New New Orleans and her family runs a popular Cajun restaurant in Chicago. The ingredients could be the same but preparation is different. It takes a far longer time to prepare gumbo. This dish could made in less 30 minutes of cooking time. Also there is no roux. I know gumbo has its roots from the Senegambian area.
