great video as always! also worth mentioning that Alex Pereira is moving to LHW divsion. He is huge even for this division and has been champion in kickboxing at this weight so has experience in prepping for this weight. He's definitely a top contender at least

Would definitely highlight Jan’s striking prowess in the section where he denied Adesanya’s attempt to reach double champ status. Dude legit went strike for strike with StyleBender and arguably outstruck him. Nonetheless, another great video in a very enjoyable series!

When i wrote and recorded the video his fight hadn't been confirmed. I don't usually like to comment on fighters who haven't made their mark on the division, but this one was unfortunate timing. Excited to see how he does!

8:07 Glover made that mistake in the last round. By scorecards, they were 2-2, and Glover had just rocked Jiri and could have definitely reached a TKO win had he capitalized on that. Muscle memory sent him trying to guillotine Jiri, whose quick recovery landed him in an advantageous position that won him the fight

I just don't understand how Jones could get flagged for steroids so many times, get his title stripped so many times, and *keep doing the same thing*. He's a fantastic and gifted fighter despite all that, I don't get the logic. Do you have any info on this, Leo? or anyone else for that matter

Well at the end of the day hes at the mercy of USADA and the law. He serves those suspensions given and in their eyes he is clear to continue fighting, regardless of fans opinions. Whether its right or wrong is a different story!

also to add onto this jones hit popped 3 times the third was “pico-gate” and he still get referred to as “The GOAT” but TJ gets popped once and “has no legacy now”

Hi Leo, good video mate. Could I ask you as an MMA fan who do you think in a hypothetical world in which Jones whole career he isn't suspended who he have fought and possibly won against across the years of the LHW division or even invaders from other divisions (he fought 3 natural middle weights during his first reign)? Rumble Johnson comes to mind, any others you think would have happened?

Thank you! And great question, personally i think a rematch against gustafsson soon after their first bout would have been excellent, its clear he was past his prime when they did fight for the 2nd time. Rumble as you said is also a great shout!

I would say 31 is young for LHW, not even necessarily his prime. Maybe Im conflating too much with heavyweight, but 31 feels more like BW and FW prime ages
