I enjoy this challenge very much, but my shoulder pet would be an otter only because of the fortitude.

Got my Theri(everyday driver) and Rex still looking for a Bary and holding out for a Yuti and Basi. Of course have my Phoo as shoulder pet. With the two tames made it to the mountain on the west side and got a bunch of obsidian. Moving on up!

Oh mannnnn I was out on the island the other day searching for an early game horse and, after days of looking, FINALLY came across one but it was a unicorn!!!! He promptly ran in the middle of a raptor pack and got shredded right in front of me...

If you're gonna base camp on Herb just clear cut one side of the cove, lay down 20-30 small crop plots, plant whatever berries you want. There's enough poop and thatch for compost.

I wouldn't be able to justify not having an otter as my shoulder pet, but they're my favorites!! Meso and the snare effect are a great choice, though, and it makes the most sense for Phlinger to have a Phoo!!

My personal 5, raft for transport, dodo for kibble, compy for shoulder pet, lystro for exp buff, and ovis to feed the carnivores.

Watching this late, took my brother on some cave runs, and lost 3 agents a shark and a phoo. We were on high alert all day lol. I know how intense feels. Great job on the video Phlinger.

Five tames I'd go Mammoth and Moschops for gathering, I think a bary for water and caves (Sarco and/or Deino would be good too but bary is more versatile) I think I'd need a rex purely for the bosses. Shoulder pet I'd go with a dimorphodon. That gives me 2 slots left, One would have to be a yuti and I think I'd go Anky for the last as they're just a little more versatile that a Doed.

It breaks the rules of the series but I vote Greg counts as an exemption from the tame counter so you can tame him/her

That also means that a zeppelin isn’t a tame too right? Having a flyer that doesn’t use a tame slot to transport stuff might be pretty nice!

Is the pack hunting or Dino train follow command fixed? Or is the path finding still a huge pain in the but? It's no fun the dinos keep scattering all over the places and or getting stuck into rocks or ground

I would tame the unicorn. That should be an exception to the 5 only rule since they are rare, kinda like most challenge playthroughs of pokemon or palworld have exceptions for shinies and luckies…

What about a Frog? Cementing Paste. Low Level/Cheap Saddle. VERY mobile; wouldn't even need to build that ramp you were talking about to get to that ledge base of yours. You could just REACH it.

The unicorn rule is in effect. If a unicorn is seen during the playthrough of course it must be tamed.
