I saw a couple Shelby versions of this truck at a Ford dealership last weekend...$143,000. Both the same price but different colors. They were "Baja" versions...each had two mounted spares in the bed. Amazing how far they've come since '10 with the first 5.4 model. That truck sold for $38,000 fully loaded.

The donut drone footage is 🔥🔥.. I am guessing 8 mpg .. or less.. I have a 2022 37 package Raptor and if I don’t get on the highway I am in the 10 to 11 mph range.. don’t care. I like that my 37 was built in the same plant as the R, Dearborn.. and is very similar except for that BIG HONKIN’ V8.. I can’t imagine.. 700 HP.. more than happy with whatever my 37 has. These trucks defy the laws of physics.. a truck with this big of tires and big should not ride this well on a highway and maneuver as well as they do. Loads of fun!! Great review!!

It'll be a sad day when the last V8 rolls off of whatever assembly line is the last hold out. Until then, we can revel in the eargasm that is this truck, now that it has a proper engine. And, of course, dust hurricanes 😀 Fantastic video of the hill climb & descent, blasting down that "road" that would tear up lesser vehicles, and of course the most amazing donuts yet! I laugh when people complain about the poor gas mileage of the TRX or Challenger / Charger Hellcats, since that's completely not the point of such vehicles, and this Raptor R certainly fits in the same category.
