Foil tape is available at Home Depot and Lowes and it's used on the seams of air ducts. It sticks very well and looks nice.

Hey Sarah! You might want to rethink the stainless nutsert for the ground. Stainless steel isn't always a great electrical conductor. Perhaps there's more contact surface that is copper to steel that we couldn't see on camera. There are grades of stainless that do conduct but it tends to be hit or miss.
