I’d love to be your student for some day. I want to save my family and friends from danger like aging/old age. I just want them to enjoy their new youth life in the present like before. No matter what happens, the good shall deserve to live.

Well that was alright. A vaccine for age related diseases but looking to see a common thread between them. Not the ultimate answer to living for centuries but a decent step.

It's interesting to prevent aging, not treat it with anti-aging. I think that is quite the same. Good for you.

Hi Phil, could you do a video on longevity and living in a world that is on the verge of collapse? For example, one can live longer but might get long covid, or be infertile from all the endocrine disruptors in the environment, or tissue damage from all the plastics in the food, air, water, etc... Or living longer but with less nutritious food because of soil nutrient depletion, or living longer with more extreme weather and AMOC collapse. or longevity and civilization collapse?

Life is in better spots, much better than 50 years ago. There have always been doom-and-gloomers. They substitute emotion for facts.
@KarsonsChannel3 ай бұрын
@@BrianMolstad if that were true, suicides, autoimmune disorders, autism, disabilities, excess deaths, mental health issues, and chronic illness wouldnt be on the rise. Not to mention higher cost of living, lower wages, lower marriage rates, lower quality of life…

Their assumption is combination of existing drugs can reduce rate of aging which they are probably not themselves sure about until actual trials are done

What kind of effect would it have for healthy people in their 70s and 80s? There's plenty of people that age that have a high quality-of-life and no real disability. How much would it extend their lives? At the beginning of the video you talk about something radical needing to be done to reach age 150, so I guess the vaccine is the thing that would allow people to reach 150?

The near term answer is epigenetic medicine.

Great if reverse sarcopenia neurological cardiovascular disease, 40+ would be an appropriate age to start as we were meant to have died by this age.😅

Great point, Angela! Starting at 40+ can be a crucial time to focus on reversing sarcopenia and addressing neurological and cardiovascular health for long-term wellbeing.
