So sad that the elder sister doesn’t realize that she’s the one in need of healing the most. This episode was so heavy with so much unpack. The older sister is clearly so traumatized that she is still defending her father. How was he so horrible but above having an affair or doing drugs with her sister? Also she was so loud with the "that's not true" when it fact everything the plaintiff said was true. She needs counseling the most out of everyone and I'm not sure how she is an advocate for victims of abuse when she is clearly void of any empathy.

I think Tara resented Tmecca because of the love and protection she had as a child especially from the men in her family. Tmecca described that situation of simply making a phone call and her grandfather and uncles showing up ready for war behind her whereas Tara was sexually, emotionally and physically abused by the men in those roles in her life. Tara has to realize that Tmecca is not her enemy. I hope she gets the healing she needs.

Yes , I see the bond she has with Carla also. She probably goes to her when the older sister gives her a hard time. She seems tough to deal with. Which is also where some of the older sisters resentment also comes from. Out of jealousy that her full sister accepts, loves, and gets along so well with her. When she spoke on her dad doing drugs with Carla, she hated that the other sisters knew more about her than she did! She doesn't like them being close and it's noticable.

I could not believe the first thing she said to Tmecca as she's celebrating on officially having sisters, "Well you got what you wanted". And I really hate the fact that she felt the need to say HALF sister. I have never once in my life referred to my siblings that don't share both parents with me as my half siblings. Beyond the seemingly cold demeanor of the older sister is still a broken little girl in need of healing. The hug she tried to deny represented the hug she needs herself, but not yet ready to receive. The pursuit of her aspirations through education and various endeavors is a great and productive coping mechanism that helped her overcome such a horrendous and traumatic past; however, the accomplishments created a barrier to keep people at bay, which is a defense mechanism. My hope and prayer is that one day she receives what she needs to truly heal, so she can better serve those she is positioned to oversee and serve from a place of wholeness rather than guarded brokenness. 🙏🏽

@@hornetbrown I dnt think you’ve ever been around a life long addict. You damn near have to talk to em like that. When a person has been on drugs for double digits and they tell you to your face they dnt need or aren’t ready for help when your offering it, their in deep. I know because we have em in my family. It causes us so much grief. One of my aunties has been using for over 35 years. She literally smoked her heart out back in 2017. Now she walks around with a personal defibrillator and a pace maker. I dnt the she was out of the hospital, fully recovered and home for 3 days before she was back to the streets… bad heart and all. The only time I remember her trying rehab is when my family (her children, my cousins, my aunties and my mom) talked to her like this. I think she only got clean once but MOST people have to try and fail rehab at least 4-5xs to be successful.

Let me first say that these sisters as a whole have been through some traumatic things that no child should ever have to go through. I'm very proud that Tara, despite all she has been through found a way to still become successful, but her attitude towards her half sister is NOT OK. I feel as if she blames her sister for what happen to her because the father is no longer alive and she can't take her anger out on him. For you to advocate for abused children, and have all these titles, it damn sure didn't teach you how to be kind to others. This lady just wants the love and acceptance of her sisters, there is nothing wrong with that. Even after she found out they are siblings, she still has a cold shoulder for her to cry on. I feel she only hugged her to save face on television. I'm glad Tmecca still loves them despite Tara not wanting her to be apart of them. As for Carla, I pray she stays on a path of sobriety. She gets high to not feel the pain from her trauma, but it's going to kill her soon if she does not turn her life around. Judge Mathis did exactly what needed to be done. He meant no harm, he only wants to help her even if she didn't want it. I applaud him for that. I pray she can mend her relationship with her kids. This episode has me IN MY FEELINGS😭

I understand her sad story but at the end of the day she’s trying to make herself the centerpoint of the abuse when they all experienced it she’s trying to devalue the experience of her other sisters and that’s so disgusting to me they should all embrace each other because they were all put through the same thing and she shouldn’t blame her little sister for not saying anything about her being raped because she two could’ve said some thing so don’t try to put that on your sister and have that on her conscience
