For anyone wondering, pet birds are often put in harnesses because they aren't as adapted to the wild, and so if they get startled and fly away the bird is at a higher risk of being eaten by prey. The rope is often stretchy and allows the birds to fly without discomforting them. Even tho it looks funny, It's actually a great way to train birds how to fly. as a bird owner I was really happy to see that :)

I work at a pet store, and there are many morphs (colors, patterns,etc) of leopard geckos. Instead of listing each new leopard gecko with its own lablel, its much easier to label the rarer morphs as "fancy leopard geckos". We do rhe same thing with ball pythons too. I have once seen someone take his parrot for a walk. The parrot was without harness and leash, he regularly comes to that same park to let his parrot fly for a bit. Unfortunately, there was an event and the park was crowded with people partying which scared the parrot. It just sat in a tree and was too scared to come down to its owner for a while, but eventually he managed to get it to fly to him.

For all those curious, that white bear's name is Chada, she spent much of her early life stuck in an abusive circus, before then being sold to some jerk who kept her in a cage in his garage before she was rescued & brought to a sanctuary. That video is her waking up to a good life of retirement after a lifetime of abuse & mistreatment. I'm very happy to hear her story gets a happy ending.

Some advice that might work is try and cherish the moment you're in, I know it's hard to enjoy something when you know something bad is looming but there's no point in doing so. Don't let your problems ruin your good times because life can get really depressing when you never have a break from everything. I know it's hard but just don't think, don't think about everything that you could be doing or about how much time you have left before a problem arises, just don't think, just do, do what you feel like doing without second thought, just enjoy what you are doing. This is advice that helps me because I can truly enjoy the moment I'm in and actually have a break from everything. I'm aware this comment could sound random but this comment might help so yeah. I've also been suffering from a lot of problems too so I know how it feels, good luck to you my friend.
