I actually bought The Witch's Heart a little after it came out. Love, love, LOVED it. Not so much a romance as it is a journey of self-love, but god, I finished it cover to cover in a day and have re-read it a few times now. It's SUCH a good book!

Grady Hendrix has quickly become a must read for me. Just like Neil Gaiman. The Spiderwick series is adorable too. If you want a spooky mystery read, I recommend Simon St James. Both her Book of Cold Cases and The Sundown Motel were fantastic.

Sharp Objects goes way beyond a murder mystery. A decent amount of unexpected topics are brought up that I found were represented really well. The book is amazing with building these layers that deepen the readers understanding and connection with the main female character bu also draws you in and keeps you wanting more. Perfect for summer seriously! I really hope you get the chance to read it.

The Witch's Heart is just... SO beautiful. It might help to know one or two of the basic myths about Loki but it's not necessary to enjoy the journey. I felt the full spectrum of emotions with this one and plan to reread often

I recently picked up Riley Sager’s new book The House Across the Lake! It’s good so far! Also, I wanted to tell you that we had so much fun on our trip through Chattanooga! We loved the aquarium so much so thank you for the recommendation! We didn’t get to go to Tony’s for Italian but we went to Rembrandt’s Coffee House nearby and it was so cute and the pastries were really good!

The Marveler's looks and sounds AMAZING!!! I highly recommend Sharp Objects and there's also a really great series adaptation on HBO with Amy Adams that takes place in summer - so it's very atmospheric for the season!
