Oh Freddy, hearing you squeal over the Royal Family was so sweet. I'm sad for you that perhaps you didn't realise that you could go down to the Parade ring and get so much closer to the Royal Family after they travel down the long mile. Please have a look at supporting ethical racing only - a lot of the racing industry is so unethical & cruel for the horses, but not all - please be careful about which kind a you support as I know you would not want to support any cruelty to animals - just take a look at what really happens at these races sometimes, especially to the horses x

I think a statement brooch, very Simone Rocha-esque and of course embodying the queens favorite accessory would have been SO cute with this since you didn't have a necklace to match it with. Is that something you like or own any of? I definitely think its an understated accessory and it worked so so well in the 40's with their full outfits. Anyway, you're gorgeous and I love these themed events! I wish we had something like this here in CA or America in general hahah we are not huge on the race-horsing culture.

It’s a symbiotic relationship between the influencer and the brand, if the brand owner didn’t think it would be of benefit to their business they are welcome to decline. Anyway the hat wasn’t even available to purchase, I asked for a favour to see if she had any past styles that would go with my dress. I absolutely loved it! I can relate to all the excitement that happens around these events. Unfortunately, Garden Party was cancelled in Romania because of the border war. I miss so much all the preparations and gatherings, the military music, seeing the Royal Family on the balcony. Queen Margaret and Prince Radu were present at the Platinum Jubilee, Trooping the Colour. The celebration also took place in Bucharest, in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Sophie and the Minister of Defense, Mr. James Heappey together with His Excellency Ambassador Andrew Noble. It makes me feel sick that an event has a dress code. Let alone a two tier dress code. I am not sure how ethical that is. Maybe for a church service simply to be respectful enough but why for watching horses run around? Is it to maintain a sense of rich exclusivity and superiority for the organizers and attendees?

There are still around 50-60 horse racing tracks in the US. The Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby are always the first weekend in May and a fabulous time to don your fancy hats and sip on mint juleps (if you happen to like whisky 😝🤢)! But having grown up in the Dallas area, a rodeo can certainly be fun... not quite as elegant, but still fun! Woo Hoo! 😉😁🤠
