I'm sad for you that perhaps you didn't realise that you could go down to the Parade ring and get so much closer to the Royal Family after they travel down the long mile. I might be the only one but I really like that there is a strict dress code as Ascot (depending) idkw exactly but it makes it feel special and outfits can be more interesting, loove the elegant look! That was so much fun to watch, it reminded me of my first horse races I went to and how much fun I had. I was part of a work event of my Sister’s and I was along for the fun. It’s a symbiotic relationship between the influencer and the brand, if the brand owner didn’t think it would be of benefit to their business they are welcome to decline. I think a statement brooch, very Simone Rocha-esque and of course embodying the queens favorite accessory would have been SO cute with this since you didn't have a necklace to match it with. It's not just for entertainment, it's culture & tradition, besides the horses were not the only ones racing under the heat, their jockeys are there too, and even most of the spectators are watching under the hot blazing sun without shade wearing uncomfortable outfits, horses are not the only living things suffering the sweltering heat, they went through all of these to honor the culture & tradition...
