I think it's so sweet that you two share this hobby and that she got into it too, even though it's often considered more of a 'Millennial/Gen X' thing. Of course, there are people from other generations on KZbin, but the majority probably does fall into the Millennial/Gen X category. And as someone who basically grew up with youtube and experienced the site in its "infant days", I like and value videos and creators who are not 100% professional more and more. Not to say that I don't like professional and high quality videos like yours, otherwise I wouldn't have been subscribed for several years, but KZbinrs that aren't super professional often also have their own, very unique charm.
