IDK, for the Regulars I was pretty happy with the Martini-Pattern Lasguns so didn't feel a need to upgrade them to plasma or anything, and for the Irregulars the only option was Grenade Launchers, and I figured the Mortar team was doing the same thing but better. It probably would have been more optimal to go for heavy weapons but this was a pretty chill game, and I don't know Praetorians too well
