Although I have enjoyed Morgan's vlogmas immensely, I acknowledge that it has to be extremely exhausting (mentally and physically) having to record and edit every single day. We have to be mindful of her well-being too; be grateful for her hard work, as I know we are all, but don't expect this to keep going. It is not sustainable for her. Don't worry about feeling like you have to have "value" in your videos. I'm a fairly debt subscriber and your vlogmas videos are my favourites! I will miss them. And as someone with a chronic illness who can't get out much watching someone get out and about or just play with their dog is super valuable.

As others have said, showing your authentic life can sometimes be the most powerful message all on its own! I think that Vlogmas resonates for so many because dropping into your life with Landon & Roo & friends each day gives us a real sense of belonging and community in a way just words cannot. Watching a Vlogmas video every day reminds me of how we often have so much more to say to friends we see all the time than ones we reunite with infrequently, because we're already up to date and invested in each other's everyday joys and struggles, no matter how small! As adults, a lot of us don't have friends we talk to every day anymore, so it feels a little like the unique magic of summer camp, college, or an extended visit. :)

Morgan, you gave me that song you played at the beginning of this video. THAT SONG i had never heard before and it was the MOST BEAUTIFUL song that I have ever heard (in many years) I found the artist and went and listened to the full version and I just started balling crying hyper-ventilating crying, crying the entire song and I didnt know why. I listened to it again and it became clear that song reminded me of my dad and my brother (both passed) it reminded me of all the never going to be memories that would have been made had they decided to live and be here with me now. I needed that. I NEEDED that song. I needed to feel those feelings and cry that ocean i cried that I have held in for many years. Then I was okay and listened to it again and it hit me the real reason for that song to me. It was for me and my husband. It is meant to be our song and we are meant to dance in the living room and him hold me and love me as I cried (and we did that this afternoon) that song is now our love song for all the memories and christmases we will cherish that song as our christmas song song. YOU have me that song Morgan and I am FOREVER and will be forever grateful. You do have a purpose and that is just to be here and be the light for others. Your ordinary past couple of days have been soooo beautiful please never stop because I love your normal everyday where we just get to tag along and be with you even of the stay in days that seem boring to you they are extraordinary to me.

Even though I live in The Netherlands, which has a rainy climate, I can’t imagine it raining every single day for months, I would feel like staying in a lot. I feel January and February are the hardest months of the year. The Christmas cheer has gone, and it’s such a weird period. When Spring begins it is always a magical time again ❤

My rescue greyhound Madge hates the dyson too! I think it is the noise they make, and my previous dog Charlie used to nip at it, but got used to it in the end. Love this! I experienced severe SAD last year so this year I bought a $25 light therapy lamp on Amazon. It's a small little circular lamp that I use on the highest setting for 30 min each morning and I think it has really really helped me this year. Along with seeing a therapist twice a month, light therapy has contributed to me having zero depression this year thank God. Just thought I'd mention the lamp in case you are interested in trying it!
