It's funny, for so long all we know as human beings is how it feels to be young and suddenly your life shifts and you start to actually see and feel aging, and often don't feel like we look our best, I'm older than you, I turned 40 this year and the way your mind can make you feel self conscious at an organic change is wicked, thank you for sharing that chat in the video. You're always honest with your thoughts and that's so brave but also helps us not feel isolated in the same feelings we have too. Also you look absolutely gorgeous in this video, the hair alone was like wow.. stunning. And the way your mind makes you feel as if there was something wrong with it. 42 here and still surprised at this... This was so cozy and fun to watch! I recently moved and have been super busy but this week I thought to look around my area for bookstores. Turns out there is a lovely used bookstore just a 5 minute walk from me and I went yesterday and got some books! One of them was The Night Circus which I am very excited to have found and am looking forward to reading it this spooky season.

I recently read and loved this poetry book called "Where Hope Comes From" by Nikita Gill, and there's one poem that I think everyone needs to hear: "On the days you find the mirror hard to look at, remember there is a myth which says the face you have in this life is the face of the person you loved most in your last. I know it's just a myth But think of how much more love you would give yourself if it were true.” You are beautiful, Morgan! Inside and out 💛 I've been struggling with self-love too, and it's a long journey. Not sure if someone already said it as this is an old vlog but little tip for the oranges is to pat them dry with paper before putting them in the oven or even leaving them for a bit between 2 sheets of paper so they absorb as much moisture as possible. Going back through all your automnal videos and loving it.

Funny, I just finished reading SWTWC too and have similar opinions. I enjoyed it but it wasn’t 100% for me and that’s okay! Still a fun book. Also, thank you for being honest and willing to be vulnerable with us. I definitely have days of feeling less confident and less beautiful. It’s hard sometimes but like you, I’ll put extra time into picking out a nice outfit or fixing my hair up. But just a reminder, I did not subscribe to your channel because of how you looked. You have such lovely, warm and cozy videos. I enjoy each video with a cup of tea or a snack, you have a very comforting and warming personality. You’re sweet soul really shines through! Morgan, I know this is an old video, but I needed something to watch while comforting a sick child this evening and this is the absolute perfect comfort video. I just wanted to say in response to what you said in the video (about feeling self conscious, and everyone having their ups and downs) that it is so interesting because I was watching this video feeling jealous of how beautiful you are. I have been reading and rereading More Than A Body by Lindsey and Lexie Kite (life changing and incredible - I wish I could make every woman in the world read it) so with my new mindset in mind I literally spoke out loud to my living room something like "she is who she is and I'm happy for her, and I'm happy being me because I'm me" and just kept watching and enjoying. And then to hear you say that you were feeling self conscious on the day you filmed was kind of mind blowing. It definitely made me feel comforted that self-confidence is a process for ALL of us, even the ones who we consider more beautiful than ourselves. Thank you for including that part of the video. ❤️ Also I have been thinking about you and Landon a lot lately and praying for you both as you're temporarily apart. ❤️

I listened to the audiobook for Something Wicked - very well done! And I found the dvd on Amazon - I remember this fondly from my childhood and is so close to the book. Turns out Bradbury wrote the screenplay so that's why. I'm keeping the movie for Halloween night as a special treat.

I’ve been struggling a lot with my image. I’ve gained weight and that’s a huge mental problem with me personally. It’s hard for me to lose weight since getting on birth control. And I don’t feel like myself anymore, but I’ve decided to love and take care of myself for the first time in honestly a year. I’m stopping birth control, and working out. I don’t have any friends, I have my husband, but he doesn’t fully understand hormones and birth control so it’s hard not being able to talk about it.

As I've gotten older, I've finally come to realize that the week before my period is a complete and utter mindfck. I feel and look hideous. I don't even recognize myself in the mirror. I hate every article of clothing that I own. I feel utterly ginormous. I cannot get dressed/try on eleven outfits. My hair sucks. My skin sucks. I age ten years over night. Then...I start my period and I remember that I have period amnesia. I've been doing this since I was 11 years old, and every month I seriously forget what's coming and honestly think I am having a mental breakdown. "WHY can I not stop eating chocolate?!?" Two days later..."Oh, yeah. That's why." You're not alone.

I always wondered about the drone images; lovely too. AND I love your hygge cozy vibe in every way! I’m reading The Once and Future Witches, but the best Halloween book I’ve read is The Silent Companions. It’s very gothic and follows in the footsteps of a Poe like tale.

I have this special mug that looks like a cauldron with the Hogwarts logo on it. It's the only mug I drink hot chocolate out of. I feel like it became sort of a sorting hat. After years of having hot chocolat poured in it, it tends to whisper what it thinks of the drink.. And tonight I got such a scare! It literally started screaming out of joy when I made your chocolate recipe.. It's sooo good!
