Conversion of gift in mind - is superfluous. Thus, it appears that Heavy would purposely deceive Sniper pre making him friendly, that is, paid double damage. When just doing Sniper friendly and giving him a gift, Heavy could make friends with Sniper and stop the senseless struggle. The problem at the point that the whole essence of the game - a meaningless fight.
