@@nickjsne I most likely will, but I just love your reviews and just knew you would love this bag bc its so different and it seems like EVERYONE has the YSL bag. But I still need to see it in person before I pull the trigger. And I do agree with you on the colors! The colors and hardware is what drew me to the bag.

Based on the comments so far you are certainly not alone haha ! There are other brands that have just cornered the market for a puffer bag I think ☺️

It seems to be a miss-step for Mulberry. Aesthetically, the puckering around the postman's lock is not pleasing at all. They look like they won't wear well as the quilting will deflate and the leather may not be very thick and resilient as with these puffer bags. It's also nearly Spring, so why have they come out with such Winter aesthetic bags?

Great to hear your thoughts on this! Mulberry is probably my favourite bag brand so was very excited when I saw the teaser for this launch. It looks so soft and squishy, but I feel it doesn’t quite fit the essence of the brand. I’d lean towards the YSL puffer or Coach tabby! 😊 new subbie here xx

Green is always the best color! Completely agree. 💚 While I love a good quilted bag, this "puffer" trend leaves me baffled. Wouldn't it make the bag extra-susceptible to scratches and punctures? Maybe I'm just a little too anxious.

This one as it is down I think could puncture, it will be beautifully made no question about it but wear and tear could be a big consideration as you have said !

I wanted to like it more than I do. But that price… 😳 what is Mulberry’s normal price point?! If I had to choose, I would say the Big Softie in the cream and gold hardware, but that handle… first off, being so big and puffy, it’s going to fill the hand and make it all sweaty, and after a few wears, those handles will never stand up on their own accord again- constantly flopping over and what not. Overall great video!

Mulberry bags differ based on size but can sit anywhere from £700 / $950 to £1500 / $2000 depending on the size or materials. They are certainly worth the money because they are so well made, this collection just isn’t aesthetically a win. You’re so right about the handles, they may crack prematurely as well if they make your hand sweat ! I do think you’d really love a Mulberry, feel like the Belted Bayswater would be a good choice for you !

I’ve never looked closely at Mulberry, so this was interesting. I just can’t get into the puffer style bags!! It’s just a sleeping bag 😬 I agree, the middle softie was the better one but still not convincing 🤣 Thanks for sharing Nick!

Mulberry I recommend 100% they do beautiful items ! This collection is just not the one to go for haha - although I bet the quality will be exceptional !☺️

I didn’t like the look of this latest offering from mulberry either from the website however I did get the chance to see them in the Edinburgh shop recently and they are much nicer in reality This look is hitting a trend that we will be seeing so I suppose this is why the softie has come to fruition

I’m sorry, been a Mulberry fan for years but I won’t be buying one, you’re right, they missed here! Plus I dislike the chain…..compared to YSL it looks cheap…..slightly lavatorial…..

Not a fan as well of these. I think it is a bottera vendetta mixed with puffer (trend x another trend) and the result is not my favorite. I feel it lacks some originality

Sorry, I think they're hideous. I wouldn't carry it even if I was given one for free. I have several Mulberry bags and was happy to pay the high price tag because they will look good even in a decade because they're classic styles. The Softie is one of those gimmicky bags that will look passe in no time at all.
