Hi Lucille 🙂 Congratulations on conquering your anxiety and going on a solo trip 👏. I hope you have a wonderful time with lots of lovely moments. I hope you know how much you are loved Lucille, not only for your vlogs but also for the lovely lady you are.

There's a quote I like to say to myself when I'm feeling down on myself about my anxiety. It's something along the lines of "Being brave doesn't mean never being scared. It's being scared but doing it anyway." You're so incredibly brave ❤

You seriously underestimate yourself Lucille. I’m nearly 34 and could never imagine travelling anywhere on my own because of my anxiety. You have so much courage ❤

To be fair though I’d actually love to travel with you 😊❤

@ItsGraceOrlando Thank you so much! I try my hardest, but it can be tough and my mind overthinks a lot and makes me doubt myself. I always end up having the best time abroad, so it’s always worth the nerves, anxiety and stress in the end! 😅 To be fair, I’m always looking for a travel buddy! 🥰 xx

Hi Lucille, thankyou for being so honest in this vlog about what it's like when you don't have a partner to travel with. I feel like I've missed out on things in the past for this reason and I applaud you for just getting out there and doing what you want to do solo. I hope you had a great trip x

Hi Nicole, thank you so much for this lovely comment. I just didn’t want people to think that I’m super confident and find travelling places on my own easy, cause it’s not the case. So I wanted to be really honest in this vlog to show that even if you’re scared, you can still do it! I just have always had this dream to see the world, and so I don’t want having no one to go with to stop me from achieving my goals and living my dreams. ❤ I totally get what you mean about missing out on things because of that reason, it’s so hard. I actually ended up having the best trip ever, and I’m so glad I pushed through the nerves and went cause it was an unforgettable, wonderful experience! 🥰 xxx

If I was travelling in your group, I would think it's cool that you Vlog! I would love to Vlog but dont have the confidence at all. You're amazing and do incredible well travelling alone I don't think I could do it! Btw I'm not really shy, and some would say I'm confident, but I still couldn't do half the things you do. ❤

Good for you Lucille! I traveled solo in 2019 from California to London without a phone. The struggle was real.

@@notcountingsheep3361 Thank you! That’s amazing that you’ve also solo travelled. It can be tough, but I think I worry too much so that never helps 😂 I ended up having the best holiday, so I’m glad I pushed through the nerves and went! 🥰 xx

Lucille you are so lovely!! You doubt yourself too much! I work in mental health and I work with SO many clients whose anxiety presents similar to yours. I think you'd definitely benefit from speaking with a professional about your anxiety, as what you're experiencing is so common, but just because you have all these negative thoughts about yourself, does not make them true! thoughts are not facts, only opinions

It's amazing that you feel the nerves and dive into new experiences anyway - that's what life is all about! I often solo travel (not always by choice either). As scary as it is, it brings wonderful life experiences 😊

Well done for going despite the nerves! I did my first solo trip this year and was very nervous but you did grow a lot from them. Might be more nervous as you’ve had a really rough time and in that period got super close to your family so maybe it’s more homesickness too
@LucilleXox9816 сағат бұрын
You’re so right, you do grow and learn a lot from them. I don’t really get homesick, but I think I’ve lost a lot of confidence since my breakup so that might be why I was extra nervous this time. I’ve also had a lot of negative experiences in the past, like getting pick-pocketed, ending up in hospital abroad, being harassed by men, so that plays on my mind and those are my main worries when I go somewhere on my own. 🫶 xx

I’m travelling to Australia and spending 3 weeks by myself in January…very anxious but also super excited! Encouraging to know it’s not just me that gets anxious solo travelling 😂

Hey Lucille have you ever considered CBT or general counselling for anxiety? No hate, I found it really helped me x
@KarlaEmmerson7 сағат бұрын
Same, I had severe phone anxiety but was required to do calls for my job, so I’d take cbd oil before calling anyone 😂 Even if it was placebo, it got me over the fear and now I can just call anyone with no prep
