Great wrap-up! I had a good month, too, with three 5⭐️ books. One of them was Lula Dean's Little Library Of Banned Books. I'm glad I finally read Homegoing. I plan to read Her Body and Other Parties soon. I'm listening to Bury Your Gays. It's very strange in a good way!

I'm so interested in Tell Me I'm Worthless because of your review! Sounds right up my alley, will have to prioritize it soon! And I wasn't sure if I was going to pick up Bury Your Gays, but now I think I will :)

It’s hard to say how you’ll feel about it. I think you’ll either love it or hate it. Bury Your Gays isn’t so literary. It definitely runs on the thriller side of things, but it was a good read imo.

I also didn't really love Eartheater. It was fine but could have been really good! For some reason I just cannot get into Ottessa Moshfegh books. The characters are unlikeable and I can't seem to find enough other good qualities to balance it out. I also loved Homegoing! I loved the family over time. I am adding Poverty, by America and Bury Your Gays to my TBR. That sounds like an amazing reading month!

Yeah. Eartheater was a bit of a disappointment. I get it with the Moshfegh books. I think she’s a love it or hate it type author. I don’t mind unlikeable characters if I can see the point of them being terrible and I do think she accomplishes that. I think you’ll really appreciate Poverty, By America, but I’m not sure if you’ll like Bury Your Gays or not. Thematically, I’m sure you’ll appreciate it, but I’m not sure how you’ll feel about the horror elements.

@@Linds709 I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t pick how many ads go into my videos, but from what I understand, KZbin isn’t supposed to put more than an ad break every 8 minutes. I’ll have to dig into it and see if there’s a way for me to adjust it.
