Yah, when they are stressed at the vets they just don’t drink and eat properly. When my dog had pancreatitis she was really nauseous. I noticed all the drinking too. Nook was much sicker than my dog, unfortunately. But hoping his youth and overall health helps him recover quickly.

Nook had a bit of tummy issues I think and now he can't eat certain foods. Poor baby. It was so nice of Sherpa to share his treats with Nook. I would love to find a wood splitter like the one you have. Even an old lady like me could use that.

Aww Nook, God bless his sweet heart. It hurt me to see him feeling poorly. But he’ll be back to his feisty self in no time. My Sadie had pancreatitis and after we made a few changes to her diet, she never had any more problems. Jamie, when you give Sherpa treats he doesn’t even leave you a tip. 😂 But he is royalty and you’re his servant. Give him a big hug for me. Love to you both from Tennessee USA. 💕🐾

Even hirpling along, Nook looks happy to be among his family! We had an emergency with one of our cats this weekend. We drove all over the state of Pennsylvania late Thursday afternoon till we were able to find a 24/7 emergency animal hospital. (We called his regular vet, who couldn't see him, were referred to another vet am hour and a half northwest of us, the saw him, x-rayed him, charged a few hundred dollars, referred us to another vet two hours to the south, but they are only an overnight emergency hospital, and we'd have to pick him up and bring him to another vet at 7 in the morning, so they referred us to the Hershey emergency vet, which was a further hour and a half away!) Poor little Auggie had a UTI and a partial/imminent blockage and had to stay in the hospital until Saturday afternoon. He's been super clingy and very happy to be home. The bill just about had me fainting, but he's well now. Phew!

You laughed about giving Sarah a plunger but it is a really good present. I remember I didn't have one and I clogged my toilet with Costco toilet paper. That stuff is good but too thick for Japanese toilets. I went to the convenience store to see if they had one but no. It was midnight and the nearest store open was a very expensive taxi away. The convenience store clerk was sooooo amazing. He gave me the one from their store toilet to use. God love his heart. It saved my toilet and I made it really clean and returned it 30 minutes later. So yes that is a really good present ❤❤❤

Don't you love that lope they still have - even at their age? You can still see the puppy in them. My hound's ears flap when he runs, but I enjoy watching him walk the hay field with his head high and his tail over his back - like he's king of the world. That kindling splitter is amazing! I need one of those.
