Just started coin hunting but I have been collecting paper money for quite some time. Today in change I got from McDonalds of all places I got a 1941 Philly wheat penny. It’s so cool to find treasures that others just look right over.

Hi Rob. I just bought 20 penny rolls to start hunting for the first time and I've been going through a couple rolls at a time over the past couple of days. Yesterday I searched roll #10 and I found a 1956-D Wheat cent (first wheatie of the hunt) and a 1907 Indian Head cent. I got really excited about the Indian Head cent even though it was quite beat up. 117 years old and still out there. Thanks for everything that I've learned from you! I love your videos! My local drive through dairy/ small market lets me buy rolls of dimes and nickels. I search them and return them. Quarters I pick up at the laundromat and save the new woman quarters, the late ‘60’s, ‘70’s and ‘80’s quarters to make rolls for anyone who wants them.

That French 10 centimes has been demonetized. All French centimes/francs were replaced by the Euro several years ago.

I just opened $80 in customer wrapped pennies. Very heavy on copper... 22.75 pounds total, including 2.25 pounds of 1982 coppers (about 3x what usually see)..about 45% copper. Almost no bright and shiny coppers, which is odd. 30 Canadians...all different dates from 1942 to the 1980s.. again odd. 45 wheaties, one rare date, 1912S... also a 1911 and 1930... rest 40 to 58.

I found one when I was about 10 or 11 years old somewhere around that age I remember looking at the coin and telling my brother look here this one's got two dates and two Liberties on it then I went and bought a piece of bubblegum with it how stupid but I didn't know at the time

I have a 10 centimes from the same year, not worth more than a few dollars maybe, but I absolutely LOVE the coin. So, since it wasn't worth much numismatically and I like the design, I committed the gravest sin and cleaned / polished the hell out of it. It's worth FAR more to me right now than many other coins I have in the $100+ range!

Rob, I got two penny boxes today and I think i’m done getting coins from this particular bank. Got a box of quarters last week and unfortunately didn’t check it until I got home and it was all 2024 quarters 🤦🏻‍♂️ I searched $50 in customer wrapped rolls and it was rough, 3 wheat pennies, 5 2009’s (I collect those), and 25 Canadians (I live in CT so we get a lot pf those). This bank is terrible with boxes. Also, do you pre order boxes or does your bank just have them available? I pre ordered a nickel and quarter box which will arrive in 2 weeks
