It might not have been able to charge them because you actually might have bad cells in them. If a battery got bad cells. It doesn’t matter how good your alternator is it will not charge them and if you had a bad alternator, it would not stay running long.

What was your voltage reading while running? That and your amp gauge should tell you if its an alternator or battery issue.

@ voltage was basically reading 10 volts, as for the amps I don’t remember. What leads me to believe this is an alternator issue is the low voltage readings had been an issue for a while leading up to the problem of the bus not starting.
