Costume Collections you've created could go in Museums, Theatre, and you could rent them out, bring collections to universities. It's unique what you have done, and clearly your passion.

I love the Beautiful black gown. I would even offer to rent it and model it at a show where I live just to be able to see myself and wear such a garment. The green traveling dress is also exquisite! You bring back a feeling Ive always had that somewhere in time, I actually lived that era. The fasion and description of the time just feels 'right'. This is def my favorite video. Thank You!

I love your dresses and am impressed with your sewing talent. We do not see people as young as you that can sew so well. My mother was an awesome seamstress and my sister is also. I barely can sew a button or hem a pair of pants.

Your costumes are so pretty! Specially the 1890s ones.

I'm very much an artist, and love costumes you have really caught my interest. Your outfits are amazing, and you show them in a very interesting way. We'll done, don't give it up ❤

Wow, you give me hope, I know enough about sewing to be dangerous and knowing you are self taught and have made such beautiful gowns inspires me. Right now I need to make a Victorian belt

I love this! I’m super jealous of your collection, I’ve been thinking I might sew my first ever historical outfit this summer after my university assignments are all finished (I’ve only ever sewed modern clothes before). But there are so many eras to choose from, it’s way to hard to decide !! Also, if your looking for someone to send your unwanted historical clothes to that would greatly appreciate them, I humbly volunteer 😂😉

I work in the Apparel Industry and work in CAD, Design, pattern design, grading and production. Your work is wonderful. Oakland School for the Arts and hundreds of other Schools for Theatre Design would love you as a guest lecturer, covering Art and Fashion History as well as Design, knock off work, and pattern making. While, you don't need it, I love a book on Couture Sewing and Seam finishes, you'd love the pictures, and it's amazing the techniques and how they have NOT changed in 100s of years.

The yellow stripe dress reminds me of the Sleepy Hollow dress, so why not make a stomacher to allow you to wear the dress?

If you're looking to clear your closet and don't want to list them for sale on Facebook marketplace or wherever, you could reach out to local costuming groups/guilds and see if any of their members would be interested. New members especially may be interested

This is such a good idea! I’ve been planning on clearing out my closet for ages, but I hat shipping things 😭

@@thesewloartist Shipping is awful. Especially now with USPS being mismanaged. Maybe a local person/group would be willing to pick up or have a place for drop off.

You could sell the ones you don't want anymore to your followers who are costumers and would appreciate them. :)

Wool as swimwear?

Yes. Most of edwardian and late-victorian swimsuits are made of wool.
