I agree about mauve!!! It’s a gorgeous color! I think you might need to sew up a mauve frock!!! My sister had a mauve bedroom when we were kids, complete with 80s white dresser sponge painted with mauve paint! It really is time the world moves on from everything being grey! Maybe that’s why I love your channel because you’re always showing us colorful things and new combinations of colors like this arrangement!!! 🌈 It was a much needed boost for my mood today! 💜

Hi Jesse, I'm pleased this tutorial gave you a boost. As I was reading your email, I was immediately transported back to the 80s as well. I might not have had mauve in my room but many of my friends did plus I had completely forgotten about white painted draws with sponged finishes. I have to agree with you, GREY needs to be gone and more colour might just fix the world. Today is the first day of spring for us here and the weather gods have gifted us with a wonderful 20degree C, almost overnight (or have my eyes been closed), as I look out of my office window, the oak tree next door has bursts of lime green, the magnolia drips with mauve and white flowers and I can smell the purple hyacinths or is it the jasmine. Roll on warm colourful days. Warm regards Astar

Agreed! I’m sick to death of gray! Gray is the color of storm clouds. Who wants their home full of storm clouds?! 🤷‍♀️

@@debrasnipes7431 I agree with you as well. I grow up in the bottom of the South Island here in NZ. It rains all the time & in the winter all is grey. Horrid, so grey is not something I want or wish to see or be surrounded by.
