A video DJ booth that folds up! Is this thing any good?

Have had the 55" for a few months and have learned a few things. -Pull those screws off and paint the heads white, or at least throw a little dab of paint or white stickers over the screw heads. It seems minimal, but the impact on looking professional and clean is massive. You can also buy pre-painted ones, but this is an easy easy fix. I literally used white out that I had at an event to do it and the photographer was so much happier. -The side panels are not LED panels, rather LED strips behind acrylic panels. I'm like you - I swapped for the metal ones. Cleaner look. Quieter, too. -There is a lower shelf you can also install that I see you skipped. This shelf has a small design issue on earlier versions (it's been fixed afaik) where the casters do not touch the ground. You need to shim the caster to get them low enough. The rack fits neatly between the shelves, of course. -The USB cables for the side panels can be re-routed if you are going to fold it up (possible pinch points), but if you're putting the metal sides back on just tape them to the inside and be done with it. -Depending on your TV you may need to shim the top or bottom VESA mount to push the TV to be more flush. Many newer panels have a slope to their backs, so that's something to be aware of. -TopLightDJ offer a bottom shield to hide the casters if you wish - they're on sale right now for...I think $150? Rey has more info. -The smaller casters aren't worth using, but the larger ones (3.5") might be enough for your needs. I am going to be upgrading mine to larger wheels because these casters don't absorb any shock and TVs do not like shock. Something like a 6" rubber wheel (available at HF) ought to do the trick. Check Marketplace near you for used ones cheap. -The mic holder is great, but take a little bit of tubing, cut a slit in it, and slide it over the edges (glue will hold it in place) to protect your mic from scratching. The edges of the booth pieces have a nice fillet, but still...best to not tempt fate. My next customization is to drill holes in the side to mount antennas like I do for my furniture. Easy mod, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

@DJJoeBunn Always looking to help. The caster issue was my biggest gripe and Rey/I have talked a lot about it. I'm working to get a 3d print model that people can print themselves that'll mold around the threaded inserts, but I've been busy with events/bookings that I haven't gotten it done yet.

Yeah it's a great booth! I have the 65" version. I purchased it at DJX this year! Used it twice and my clients love it! Hooked my second computer with Instant spotlight and ran my new logo and some custom made logo's for my client on the TV! Definite game changer with my white Maui G44 G2, I love the look!!!

Absolutely love the booth and would definitely consider buying it!! It seems like it would be perfect to roll into the back of a trailer and strap it to the wall. There’s two things that would be awesome if they would consider doing. 1 if there was some type of molding or something that can cover the all the holes in the front of the booth. 2 having something that you could maybe snap on and off, so you don’t see the wheels at the bottom. Other than that, absolutely love it!! Thanks for showing us these dope products, Joe!!

Cool designs for sure. Two things I'd like to see. One that top edge needs to be beveled. The flat top edge screams 'hold my drink"! And two. Not sure if it would fit flush top to bottom. But if the two shelves could be attached to the front side. One to keep the booth and shelves together when transporting and two to protect the tv and also make it possible to stack gear on it without damaging the tv or led front board. Just my thoughts. Definitely a cool designs and very practical.🤙

Dude!! They were using Esstat at the dj takeover at wedding mba it was cool. One specific feature that was amazing was that they had an iPhone that was sending live video to the dj booth tv!! This was all done wirelessly and the person holding the phone was one of the hosts not a random guest that just took over the feed.

So I don't want to be rude as I love that you bring us the newest coolest DJ gear out for us to see but.....I think this thing looks really cheap for $3200. That was the price when I clicked the link in the description. The castors are really small...those are not making it over a doorway in most venues we go to. Also the screws all showing on the front looks tacky. It looks plastic and like a big toy. Not an elegant nice piece of furniture. Also having to remove all that equipment after each event defeats the purpose. Basically a $4000 table. Not a fan of this but still a fan of you and your channel Joe!!! I think it comes with 2 sizes of casters. The big ones are legit, but I get it, it's not for everyone.

Hey James I've used the 65" version a few times and it comes with big casters that can roll over pretty much anything. My clients definitely don't think it looks cheap at all. I had a coordinator tell me I need to charge more with that beautiful TV booth!...lol

Looks like a lot of work though, take your controller off put that in a bag or case, take your mixer and microphones out and put them away, take the shelves off, put them in a bag and so on. Like you said, it's good for people that don't have trailers and want this look, but I'd rather have one like the Bunn Booth, leave everything in it, have a case built for that and out of the venue you go. :) Great video Joe! It's really sturdy assembled fully. The shelves help that. You could put other casters on it, but these are legit.

I don’t do video mixing anymore it’s just to much of a headache as a DJ. This booth needs a van you’re not fitting a full set up in an SUV with that unit. You definitely need to help her because you’re not getting that in the car or SUV by yourself.

Okay for editing purposes. It's important to keep jewelry and things away from your microphone to minimize background noise... I kid you not every 5 seconds. I swore it felt like somebody was taking a picture with a camera... It was either your necklace or your shirt or something rubbing against the mic... It made me want to stop the video from all the constant noise
