Dude, to me it's your authenticity and not going for the competition thing, it's far more relaxing to watch your vids than some other where I almost feel sorry for them for struggling keeping up with the rest of the competition... I love this dude. As others have said, I'm glad you're doing good health wise and making music without being hard on yourself. This is something we can all learn from, especially myself. In the past, I've practiced for hours a day and never wanted to release anything because I never thought it was good enough. This year will be different. I'm ready to just be me and put stuff out in the universe.

Thank you! That's great to hear! There's nothing to be afraid of, right? Release the music and be proud of it no matter if it's the best piece of music in the world or if it might kinda suck. Let's finish more things in 2022 and LET'S GO!!!!

accurate brother you don't know how happy it does make me to hear you say I'm doing great first of all we have never met in person, but there is this strange connection that my mind builds with the people (artists) that I follow on KZbin specially the ones that I have learned something from them where I come from teaching considers to be as a holly activity or job so you respect the people who teach you something, and there are a handful of you guys between the synth youtubers that I've learned from and you are one of them so I thank you for that... funny enough none of you guys make the sort or the genre of music that I'm into I guess what I'm trying to tell you is its really good that you've decided not to second guess or doubt your own work as much as before maybe not all of them have as much value as your best work (in your mind) but be sure many of us do learn from them and from your workflow and that means A LOT wish you all the best in 2022, stay strong and carry on 😊 🙏👍✌

Oh, thank you for this comment! I think you're mentioning something really important here too. The fact that you're getting something out of my videos even though you maybe don't love the genre of music says a lot to me about how things could work. Music and art is bigger than genres or taste and as long as you're passionate, it's still able to inspire... Such a beautiful thing. Thanks for taking the time to write this, I appreciate that a lot! Take care my friend
@kabood7772 жыл бұрын
@@AccurateBeats I agree , believe me I just tried to be honest with my self and the amount of what I knew before watching your videos and some of the other good youtubers and how much I know now, what you said about art surpassing genres and categories is so true, so accurate ;) I give you an example I'm very careful when I'm watching an ambient synth performance, I listen, I learn but I have to be conscious not be influenced too much, so that I'm not just making a copy of a copy see that's the headache that I don't have with your work I can just enjoy and learn anyhow I'm very thankful, and am looking forward for all your new creations wish you all the best my friend 😊🙏✌

I needed this today. Thanks Accurate! I’m dealing with surgery and pain and the one thing that helps is the MUSIC. Thanks homie!

This is great and so important - I can totally relate to this. Someone once told me: "Talk to yourself like you would to your best friend." Give advice, encourage and support instead of criticising, being negative and bringing bad vibes to yourself is so much better. Do what you love and enjoy the process - appreciate you!

It’s so good to listen to someone just expressing themselves in a “self critique” manner without all the waffle and jive that I hear so often on KZbin. Glad to hear that 2022 is a year that you can really look forward to. I always enjoy your content. Best wishes from the UK.

Dude, this is just the process. The whole struggle is to keep you going. Without it, you wouldn't grow. Just go with the flow (good or bad) and enjoy the ride. I can say this because I felt exactly the same way. Look at the best artists. They have just a few really good tracks and the rest is, at best, okay. The way you handled your life the last few years is just awesome and impressive. Be thankful for the little things and don't bother the rest. Great stuff will happen when it happens.

I discovered your channel last week because I was thinking about buying a MPC one and wanted to see it in action, youtube threw me one of your videos and I really enjoyed your explanation and overall attitude. I made the jump and got mine last weekend. I haven't been so musically active and inspired since I was a teenager (I played a lot of guitar back then, and went silent for more than a decade, I still have my guitars though). I am having so much fun with the machine and some other gear I bought, and I am a lot less hard on myself than I was back then (which was one of the reasons I probably became very unmotivated about playing guitar, and I was also not as open-minded musically as I was back then, I only listened to a handful of genres, mostly sub-genres of metal, now I listen to almost anything and find inspiration everywhere). Because of all this, your message really resonates with me. I would like to thank you for doing this (this video and you channel in general) and indirectly contributing to me buying an MPC one haha! Cheers from Canada!

Let's face it, there a not too many people on KZbin that make awesome boom bap beats _and_ talk like a normal person at the same. Seriously, as much as I love hip hop and rap music, I can mostly do without that full on swag attitude that often comes with the territory. So please, Accurate, keep doing your thing! Screw the algorithm. That only works for boring, narrow minded people with very few interests anyway.
@carbonvibes2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this Accurate. Making beats / music alone is a constant struggle, adding videos to show your work to the world amplifies the internal struggle. Being able to let go is not easy, Marc Rebillet for me is inspiring to watch as he just improvises live. That to me is difficult on it’s own and quite different as recording then uploading but worth mentioning. Appreciate all your videos and definitely looking forward to seeing your upcoming ones. Glad to hear you are doing well and taking care of yourself.

Accurate, I've always been fascinated with the BoomBap style and turntablism. After discovering your videos a while back it really changed my mind set. "If it sounds good. Go with it. We are here once, so have fun doing stuff whilst we are here. I agree also that 'my latest track don't have to be or is my best track' .. they are all different and offer different ideas messages and use different things get them created. some i only used the internal sounds of the mpc and it's 2.10 update some were based on a BASS guitar being 'the thing' some were a simple piano riff that had a cool feeling... some were all around a main new mono synth i just got... some were just a cool message i wanted to get out... be different. have fun.

I'd say that what you are going through is only healthy.Feeling the need to improve comes from your connection with your artwork. In my opinion I'd try saying that if you feel you want to push yourself even slightly then do it, as long as you are aware that it can be toxic and you are careful not going that route it's all good. Honestly when it comes to content creation I feel you need to do no improvement on it,you have created a great community and so that verifies that you are good in it. Improving in music is always a positive thing and is part of growing with it as well. I am happy to hear that your healing is doing well,as most people watching this channel.That should always be a priority.I hope whatever you decide doing with you creations to end up good satisfying for you.

Glad to see you're doing great Accurate! Don't know if this would be a weird one, but I think it'd be cool if you made a video about managing having a day job and making music (don't know if you've made one already, I'll check). On 2021 I kind of made a deal with myself to make music for the sake of it, to have fun and express myself, and it dawned on me that this type of mentality most likely involves sharing the music making with a day job, and I'm a bit a fraid of not having time to keep practicing and making music daily, to get lost/trapped in my job. Anyway, hope this helps for a video idea. Cheers!
