A View To A Kill is the best James Bond film. Fight me.

I was not expecting an upload on Christmas! I hope your holiday went well, whatever it might be. I am no particular fan of the spy genre either, though the occasional film is enjoyable. I feel like James Bond is at his best for me when the directors treat him like a comic book character, rather than indulging in any kind of gritty violence or supposed "realism." It helps when their targets are fairly unambiguous villains.

I agree completely! My holiday wasn't much of a holiday, really, but it was a pretty nice, relaxing, and nicely quiet few days! I hope you had a good one too. :)

0ne of th best 007 movies, the best scene was the one at the golden gate bridge. I think Zorin's Nazi father was inspired by a cross between Klaus Barbie who was in the news at the time and Doctor Mengele.

I'm glad you think so! It was a fun adventure, and that's all it really needed to be. It excelled at that, and it had really made a successful formula out of it by that point. The movie catches far too much criticism it really doesn't deserve, and it often misses how many things it got so correct!
