Thank you very much!!!! I've seen alot of hussif's and yours is the only one so far that has been more realistic to the times!!!!! All of the others had zippers or snaps but mostly zippers. And button closures. Thank you again for being more true to the period!!!!!!

I love it! I made myself a new sewing kit a few days ago in book style. I like this one much better! I had never heard of a hussif, so thanks for the little history lesson. I love historical/vintage/antique stuff. I want to make a hussif for myself...:) Happy Sunday!

I recall awhile ago you had a video tutorial for I think you called it an amulet pouch ? It was one long strip of fabric which you folded and then stitched up each long side and then folded right sides out? It was ingenious... beautifully simple but exquisite fabrics ? I can't find that video of yours now on KZbin Do you still have it or the instructions ? You are my heroine... a pioneer of using beautiful scraps with European chic.. love from Tricia in the UK x

@@moananui1 Aloha Lilla. I did make a hussif and gave it to my 52 yr old daughter for her birthday. I don't think I took a picture of it or I would send it. I actually lived on Oahu in Wainai as a child age 8 to 12. I'll always remember the wonderful floral fragrances, fields of burning sugar cane and acres of pineapples. Of course that was 58 years ago and things might be different. Aloha
