Kim...you prob helped some of these dogs get Adopted! Wow that's a fancy dog pound!. Ours is 1 small building of dogs and cats. I'm going donate blankets and towels. You can donate time, food, blankets, towels food or money here Southern Ill. tfs

I am a foster mom and are at this shelter every week. They are well cared for and adopted right away for the most part …so it’s not sad for me. These are the lucky ones. The unlucky ones are still on the streets

This breaks my heart all the time with all the animals that need homes.. we adopted a dog from our local animal shelter 2 months ago she is the sweetest thing.. we always adopt!!!

Give a wonderful pet a forever home. I will share your video!! On the pet cemetery where our precious Beagle Ginger is buried,there is a complex with an adoption center,much like you showed. Wow that shelter is VERY NICE! It's not as depressing as most I have been to. So sad that people get animals and don't keep them 💔 there always seem to be a lot of pitbulls. The little dogs always get adopted a lot faster. My son used to volunteer at our shelter. Taking dogs out for walks and playing with the cats. ❤️

I can't go in shelter's, I can't watch the commercials on TV talking about animal abuse, I can't even watch any of the old Disney movies like Bambi, Dumbo anything having to do with animals!! It tears me up- totally rips my heart out 😭. I want to take all these babies!!! If this was anyone else's channel I wouldn't watch, only for you sis. Very nice shelter!!! People need to put more thought into getting anykind of pet!!! They're not disposable!!! Put alot of thought into it before you get a pet!!!! 😠 Okay sis, I'm done.

Same here. It took a lot of courage for me to open this video, it snuck up on me while I was watching her other vlogs. I hate what stupid selfish individuals do with their pets. I'd throw my significant other out before I abandoned my 🐈. I worry that I need to keep healthy so I can continue to take care of them and the neighborhood cats that were left behind and don't understand why the door to their master's home doesn't let them in. They find their way to my home and humbly seek my love. Oh this is killing me right now.

When our dog died, we checked with the shelters within about 60 miles of us. The prices they are charging for dogs and puppies is nearly as much as buying a registered dog from a breeder. It is no wonder that the shelters are full. We got a free puppy off Craigslist that was needing a new home.
