Your singing is so beautiful! I know exactly what you mean about nostalgia and I think that now I think about it in a similar way to a breakup. It might feel painful or uncomfortable, but that pain is so beautiful and vulnerable and is a reminder of all the goodness in our memories and our ability to feel things deeply. nostalgia its literally one of the worst feelings for me, it makes me physically sick the thought of things never been that way again and i feel suck and cant move on. In the past winter i was feeling it almost every day, plus the fact that it got so dark so quikly did not help and there were times i did nothing all day and woke up at 2-4pm. After christmas, spring term, my 3 semester and my first year away from home, its going so much better, nothing really change that much, just my midset and what i do with my day and im so happy the day its getting longer and longer even if its by 2 mins

I struggle with nostalgia all the time. I miss My mom and dad, i miss them. My daughters are all grown up now, missing the past but what this does is it makes me really appreciate living in the moment fully because I know that I will look back at those moments and miss them. lol does that make sense? I am more aware of the present moment and I am grateful. I hope you feel better. sending lots of light and love your way. :) Your voice is stunning!

How I understand you about nostalgia. Last year in winter I didn’t go to my hometown for holidays, stayed at my place. And I was showered with those emotions, sometimes to the point that I would cry and think I am never gonna be that happy again. The solution I found is to make new memories, go to travel to near town, visit your loved ones. Because they say it happens exactly when you get no new emotions and no new memories
