3 and a half months out and the cravings are real. Quest chips abs sugar free popsicles are my best friends

The shrewd food protein puffs are really delicious. Found at Amazon and they’re like Cheetos. Also, Hilo chips can be found at Costco and they’re also a protein packed chip alternative.

There are water flavour enhancers similar to a Crystal Light singles packet that come in various soda flavours that could do the trick. If I think I want a donut - I'll just buy the donut hole version of it. Most of the time, either I eat 1/2 and toss it because it wasn't that good or I actually manage to talk myself out of them. I only started on the Quest "Doritos" style chips because they stopped carrying the "potato chip" kind where I live. Now I love them! Heather xo

🍓🫐🍉🥭🍌 Great advice! I love the Quest chips as well. I saw them on one of your previous videos and decided to try them out. Quest also has good frosted cookies that satisfy a sweet craving.

Honestly I think this hit the mail on the head you will have cravings .. however you need to realistically manage your cravings. You can have a lot of these things how the amounts are drastically smaller. Don’t go crazy . Opt for more healthier alternatives ! I made my own ice cream the other day using cool whip and fruit was it sweet no was it good yes 🍑

I am a overeater and binge eater. I’ve always had the mentality i can’t stop eating until my plate is empty. I hate that! I really hope post surgery it’s easier for me .
@tooblessedtobestressed97152 жыл бұрын
I grew up as a member of the "clean plate club" at my house, too! It should be easier after surgery because if you follow portion sizes and weigh & measure out your food it will help cut things back. Also, the plate looks fuller if you use a side/cake plate while your portions are still small. Even now, when I am measuring correctly I can fit 3oz protein, 2 oz veg & 2oz starchy side onto that little plate. It looks really full & when you're done - you've tricked your brain into thinking you're really full too (without having to make yourself sick by overeating). The hard part that comes post-op is fighting off allowing yourself to binge & addressing the reasons why you want to binge. Dealing with emotional eating is very hard! Heather xo
