If so I think Worm Shepherd might have some tremolo pickage, I know Mental Cruelty’s last release had some Tremolo Picking and for Lorna I’d say only that specific part in Into The Earth has a very very black metal sound to it. But yes sadly blackened Deathcore doesn’t have much tremolo picking or the black metal atmosphere.

And then again, I was never able to figure out why The Contortionist completely abandoned Shapeshifter when it came to their live performances. Why did Chelsea Grin turn into a 4 piece? Why is everyone ok with Hernan Hermida being Suicide Silences' frontman? How come Emmure can't man the fuck up and band back up and fuckin' bounce the crowd? It gets so old every band writing anti-religion songs. If nothing else, the lack of originality is annoying. Be neat to have at least one band writing about Saint Michael coming back to slaughter demons and throw their eternal souls into a lake of fire. Still metal, but pro-God. Plenty of opportunity to speak in Latin too It is a good song though.

And either way, I still haven’t heard a large band besides Impending Doom that’s pro-religion or pro-Christian. Christianity set the moral foundation for the greatest nation in history, so all the whining about it seems ungrateful, unwise, entitled, and arrogant. I’ve studied history for quite some time and atheist secularists have an extremely terrible track record.

It's all for maximum edge and it just gets annoying. I feel like deathcore-type music would be just as good if people were talking about good, just things. I would just like to hear more songs that actually get me going on things about slaughtering evil. Like Felicia - Boundaries, a song about cutting off the head of a sexually abusive father. It can be just as metal but actually have sophisticated and just moral messages. Many songs, blackened or not, that criticize God or our system almost always seem infantile and don't take any of the argument seriously. I can "debunk" almost all claims against God when they're not just doing it for edge in metal songs. To me it makes the lyricist look unintelligent. I'm thinking Thy Art is Murder, Acrania, Humanity's Last Breath, Cattle Decapitation, and many more.
