A Walk along La Rambla of Barcelona from Pl. Catalunya to the Port, including Boqueria

I went to Barcelona last summer and I walked the La Rambla, but didn't buy anything. I just had to do it so can say I'd been there. The best food and drinks and the cheapest prices are away from the Rambla as other people mentioned. I fell in love with Barcelona and I am going there again in a few weeks.

No, eso sería un sueño. Eso sólo pasa en Nueva York! 24 horas! En Barcelona siempre nos han dejado tirados a las 23 horas salvo festivos, vísperas de festivo, etc. (creo que a la 01h de la noche) En Madrid cierran a la una los días laborables.

Things are quite dear, no matter where you go, you might find a little out of the way tapas there now. I bought food in the local supermarket over the road from our apartment, and it's not cheap! It's that 'EURO' that has rammed the prices up! Bring back The 'Peseta', those were the days of a 'Cheap' Spain.

Great video!!! Barcelona is amazing. Where ever you go in the world...... just don't hang a Rolex around your neck else you asking for trouble:-) but otherwise take enough cash for what you doing and that's enough. Or debit cards. And don't flash the cash. Common sense stuff really. I am from South Africa and loved Barcelona. Probably THE most colourful city in Europe:-) amazing food amazing people. Amazingly my buildings. And the mountain was like being on a James Bond movie set. Barcelona I'll see you in November .......... again. My msg to people worryingly about pick pockets. Don't fear what hasn't happened yet. Doesn't do justice to this legendary pedestrian thoroughfare because it doesn't show the numberous "living statues" that line the throughfare from early morning to late at night...In fact, I don't know how the photographer managed to capture the strip without the statues!

I got robbed in this area. Lost passport and everything. Had to walk to usa embassy after going to the police station that was completely packed with Americans and Canadians that also got robbed cus u got to file a report first Leave. Get a passport photo and had barely any money cus i was robbed Totol pain in the as for some loser spanish guy to take all my cruise and European photos passport. Cancelled credit cards. All he did was ruin the end of my trip. Ill never go back
