I find the _"hello"_ or head nod to someone whilst out walking is a way of showing you're no threat to each other.

Several months back I had a very vivid dream where I walked into a huge hanger full of Lancasters and with the flight crews milling around. I could see them but they could not see me. The realisation came that these were crashed and deceased crew . At that point I woke up. I could still smell the smell of oil, fuel and old leather even after waking. Weird.

Love these walks. Love you both. Love you both and John Joe, always will. Cici you mentioned the kind and respectful way of simply saying hi to a total stranger, a gesture that was once a common thing amongst people who conform to societies norms. I live in California where every one who does not follow like sheep is a racist homophobic enemy of society. Yep... That would be me. At least I love to greet people and respect their existence. .God Bless the U. K. for preserving beautiful historic architecture. Preservation means everything. Outstanding new camera Cici!

I once visited Croome Court for my then-job in the late 1980s just after the International Society for Krishna Consciousness had moved out....the grounds were stunning even back then when it wasn't open to the public. Too young to remember Defford as anything other than a radar base, but my dad worked as a tipper driver for a plant hire firm in the mid-60s and has clear memories of working on the runway extension at nearby RAF Pershore (now Throckmorton Airfield) when they extended one of the runways to accommodate the V-Bombers. The runway extension is the part that now houses a business park and Marshall's Transport. Traffic was controlled on the lane that crosses the runway by a security hut and traffic lights!

Thanks for the tour of one of your special local nature places. It was fun! Amazing you (Cici) had that experience of seeing the Lancaster. So important to hear of first-hand experiences of the spirit world. And appreciate hearing your (Dave) personal connection to the Lancaster through your grandfather. My great uncle from Canada (Ellis) flew a Lancaster bomber as a pilot and was shot down in his first raid. He was only 19 at the time. Thanks for the lovely video and commentary. Where I go hiking people almost always greet you with words...it's like hikers are a tribe that recognizes it's own. If it's someone not hiking you might just ramble by without exchanging words but for some reason people walking are quick to greet each other

Interesting. When i worked near London, we'd sometimes go for Friday lunch at a pub in Letchmore Heath which is where the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness stayed when in the UK and had a temple, so you always saw them about in the village. Oh, and MCMXL is 1940, so more of the wartime there.

Here in inland south eastern Norway, we now have a nice clear sky. And minus 19 celcius. It's gonna creep further down to minus 22 or 23 during the night. Good old fashioned Scandinavian winter weather, in other words.

Most times I try to greet people while walking. Sometimes by nodding and it's always appreciated. But sometimes I'm not in the mood of looking at people. Germans may not be as unfriendly as some may think. WW2 is often mentioned on your walks. Much more often than on my walks. We don't have many airfields from that time where I live. My village was never bombed. No barracks around. It seems the war is still very present in Britain. Is that right? The landscape that you show us is beautiful. I hope to visit Britain next year.

I may have an answer to your Lancaster sighting. I was at Croome one day and heard a plane taking off, looked up and it was the Dakota from the battle of Britain memorial flight, probably on its way to a display. No Lancaster though, but if it's grounded they often send the Dakota instead, much to the disappointment of the crowd. The airfield must be used to refuel or as somewhere to wait. Anywho, good to hear you tell Dave that you're releasing this video in January as this proves that my time machine does actually work, despite what the doctors keep telling me.
@CiciVonStrangelove2 жыл бұрын
Interesting Mike! The only problem with that is, there was absolutely no sound from this plane, and it was incredibly low (skimming the rooftop kind of low), so there’s no way it could have been silent, and when I checked the other side of the house there was absolutely nothing there (I have a pretty much 360 view for miles at my house), really bizarre! Have a great Christmas Mike :)

@@CiciVonStrangelove creepy. When I was a kid I walked past a strange looking bloke wearing odd clothes in the right away behind our house, I turned my head to have another look but he'd vanished, so your ghost plane is ok with me. Have a good one yourself.

You guys need to get a dog for your hikes out and about and call her Tal for Tal Wilkenfeld. The Pug is the most acoustically resonant, at low frequencies, of the breeds apparently and good around small children and musicians.

I guess the laws are different here in America than they are in the UK. Here, you can record random people in public places and it's not a problem.

Beautiful area .. I been visited by ghostly 👻 relatives & friends but to be visited by a Lancaster plane ✈️ dang!!! Could that Lancaster be Dave Gpa flying by? 🤔. Head nods been going on in USA 🇺🇸 forever, maybe all them Americans moving to your country is turning the UK area to the head nodders culture…
