A Walk Around St Ives, Cornwall

Never been here Andy but always wanted to go and this has made me want to go even more! This is why its great to watch your indepth videos of places 👏Looks stunning, that garden ( Makaluf?) was gorgeous and I loved the sculpture with a view. The little streets you walked through were stunning along with the harbour area and boats, and its nice to see people on the beach. Looks like there are some nice eateries here too. Great drone footage and I really liked that parish church, very historic and beautiful celtic cross. This was a great tour and really atmospheric with the seagulls and all of the people 👍~ Anna

Thank you, Anna, It was a beautiful place, The main car park is better at the top, and there is a bus service if you did not want to walk down, it was a bit steep . I have since been told, you are better to park at St Erth Park and ride and get the train in, which drops you next to the first beach we visited, it also stops at Hayle along the way, we sat at Hayle later and I got to see the trains were very regular. There were so many beaches in a short walk, very narrow little streets, and plenty of places to eat and drink as you wandered around. Thank you for watching, we stopped at The Cintra (Harbour) and again at the beach with white beach huts, then got some giant pasties from the town. We had a week in Perranporth. Yes, it was a great day, I did not realise St Ives had so many beaches.

This walkthrough was great Andy :) i love Cornwall, its definitely somewhere that i need to go back to, the beaches are absolutely gorgeous and the little narrow passages around the town are so quaint :) I loved this walk through. Definitely makes me want to visit Cornwall again :)

Thank you, Kate. I love Cornwall. It was nice to go back to the more Southern parts, as we had not been for a few years, we have done a few stunning walks. Loved St Ives with its narrow streets, parking at the top of the hill, I wish I had taken some advice and got the train in from the St Erth park and ride, looking back, but nevermind. GOING to st ives is NOT form the faint hearted, As th here are every steep street's .as I found out in July when I went ,I think last time I whent we parked by the harder. But my daughter had never parked there before, so we found it hard to no we're to park .we parked in the station car park . Take care and all the best. 😊😊

Thank you for watching. Yes the very first time I went to St Ives many years ago I got stuck by the harbour in the car. The big car park at the top is the best. But steep paths to walk down.
