Lovely to see such a good relationship between father and son, a wonderful example for others, well done to you both and for sharing that special moment with your Morris 8. Thank you

What a wonderful wee car. Must be such a treat to travel in one. The seats look especially wonderful. Thanks so much for the clip.

Hi Peter, I’m only allowed to take it up and down the drive and what great fun it is. Gets me chuckling away every time

Very nice video. We had a saloon version which I remember from the very early sixties as a five year old. Many thanks.

Nice Morris 8 Two Seater. A previous owner has made some worthwhile changes - fitted a four speed gearbox and a two-brush dynamo with voltage regulator. Much better than the original system, which continually charged the battery even if it was already fully charged. My two seater has its original three speed gearbox and on some hills, second gear is too low, third (top is too high)...

Yes, I think the most practical update is the indicators, although I love the semaphores popping out

Hi Henry, Great video, thanks for sharing. Very nostalgic as I have exactly the same tools that I inherited from my father's toolbox! Fairly sure he owned a Morris 8 at some point too.

Glad you like it Carsten. They seem old but are really very recent history and I simply cannot imagine people bombing around at 45 mph in it.

Great old car. Very interesting. Lot of similar parts on my 59 Sprite. What year is it? 1940ish? Your Dad has a great sense of humour. I can see where you get your interest in autos from. Similar to me. I sense there are some other gems hidden away in that garage! Thanks for taking the time to make the video.
