Years ago (and perhaps today?) the RAND Corp and it's subsidiary SDC used the Georgian Hotel as extended temporary housing for the RAND and SDC employees who were being transferred to the Santa Monica corporate location. My family stayed there for a number of weeks during our two different relocations to Santa Monica. It was long before the internet and finding things online. Our time at the Georgian, gave the employees and their families time to find permanent housing, schools for children, etc. Our first stay was in 1956 and our second stay was in 1958. I have many fond memories of the Georgian Hotel and how diligently their staff worked to make their guests' stays pleasant. I've seen many videos of that area of Santa Monica but your video gives a detailed view of what we experienced there so many years ago. Thanks for posting.

RM Travel ...I’m super bummed today. A trip that I researched , booked, paid for, to Greece in September has been canceled. Lufthansa cancelled the flight. I’m out a lot of money. It will all be ok. Greece will always be there. I just really wanted to leave the USA for a month. Especially during all this insane BLM-Antifa bullshit. And I can go to Egypt instead. Ahhh...sigh.

I had steak at BOA once. I didn't think much of it. Their mac and cheese was awful.

Santa Monica isn't necessarily known for its eatery. There are some good Mediterranean spots. If you want good eating you have to go to Texas. BOA steakhouse is more for luxury than it is taste.
