I sailed to Roseau ten weeks after Maria hit, they have had most of their fishing boats destroyed, and the Cruise ships can't dock on the Pier due to damage. So the economy has been seriously compromised by the loss of these two industries. Very sad, but nearly everyone I met there had a big smile and even though they had lost so much, they appeared grateful for what they still had.

i am living there all now hurricane maria was terrible i was in a downstairs of a house when i saw the eye of the hurricane the wind sounded like dogs barking and wolfs howling and people died in this hurricane its was so sad and then people start teething things from the supermarket to feed there self or there children .
