yes and only one thing.. but he broke it.. it seems easy for him at first but then as time passes by, he realized that its hard to not be with Jamie whom he used to be with while he was finishing his punishment.. Thanks for the punishment the school gave to him. Through that, he was changed by a girl he knew since kindergarten..

its never made sense to me that jamie is such a social pariah. no friends her own age. no social life. boys dont notice her. when shes the sweetest kindest most beautiful girl in town. maybe im just prejudiced because ive been in love with mandy moore for 20 years.

I presume it was because she was religious, she wasn't the type to party, was shy (Landon said earlier she looked at her feet when she walked) and her wardrobe was not stylish. All of those things made her not cool to the other high school students. She was sadly the type of person that ends up bullied, and it's a shame, because she was an incredibly kind person. I think many kids who are bullied are kind people. Landon took the time to actually get to know her and found out what an incredible person she was.
