I loved this movie as well except for his old girlfriend Belinda being Jamie's maid of honor at the wedding. Should have been Sally from drama club. And when Landon came back to see his father-in-law after 4 years to give him that book, he didn't have his wedding ring on. You could see in his eyes that he still loved.

I think for Landon Jamie would want him to move on & it was her father's generation that kept wearing his ring decades after they are gone. I never noticed Belinda was the MOH (that would make no sense)I thought I saw her sitting in the pews. I never got to see who she handed her flowers to, though Sally would have a been better choice.

I think they should have left the ring on but really it is not like you needed it to show he has not moved on imo, but I wanted it only because in the book he did have the ring on, tbh I would have liked a flash to the end of his life and him meeting back with Jamie. That would have been cool and ties to the book too.
