Very informativ video. Never been to Nerja but i will visit in october to see if i want to buy a apartment and spend my retirement here. Would you say that the town is hilly or is it only when going down to the beaches?

I don't think I've ever heard your voice before, Frank, and you have an accent! A nice surprise! I'm guessing you better have good walking shoes because it looks like the perfect place for strolling. Love the outdoor areas for eating/drinking. I'm not much of a shopper, but when you said "tiles," I know I'd be in trouble there. : )

Thank you Sarah! Tiles - Lissette bought a whole bunch of Moroccan tiles (azujelos) and made a table top out of them. If you ever get here you can go tile shopping together!

Ah, I didn't recognize the name Claudine! Yes, I've got a few weird influences on my accent. French was my 1st language, then learned British English in Africa, then lived in Canada. I'm basically all screwed up :)

You mean Estepona? That's about 150 km (90 minutes) west of Nerja. But I'm told it is also very nice :)
