Amazing. Love the princesses's dancing animations (each in their own way: Adversary fighting, punching, kicking enjoying the thrill of a battle to the death; The Razor tricking us before revealing her own blades and unleashing flurry of blows one ofter another; The Nightmare trying to dance with us, a cruel smile on her mask as she watches our body go limp before letting go and revealing the pain and misery beneath; And finally, The Damsel enjoying a cute little dance with us before it's ripped away as she is taken away. I love how all of these look. You have outdone yourselves. This is honestly one of my favorite games of all time, and I'll think about it forever :)

The animation is stunning. When I first heard of the story it was through KZbin shorts and I’d get pieces of it. Hearing the different voice of the ______. I never really bothered looking further into it until a gameplay channel I watch called “Pixel Partners” played it. The story almost instantly became one of my all time favorites. The way the story branches out by a single choice made in the beginning fascinate me. I’m excited to see what the Pristine -Blade- Cut has for us.

I first saw Slay the Princess on Steam shortly after its initial release and didn't think anything of it. I had already played Doki Doki LC back in the day and that was pretty much my experience with horror visual novel games so far, and it was okay. I liked it at the time, but nothing was actively pulling me to this game. Then later I saw Markiplier cover the game and got some more context. After seeing him play it for maybe 10 minutes I was hooked, stopped watching immediately. Bought the game, and gave it a try. It absolutely lives up to ALL of the hype. Is FAR more complex than most visual novels, beautifully written, voiced, drawn, and composed. I've done 3 or 4 different full endings and it always has something unexpected. It could possibly be one of the most complex branching visual novels out there, but I wouldn't know for sure.. The game as-is, before the Pristine Cut release, is already an absolute gem. In the sea of modern AAA studio letdowns, The Pristine Cut is an absolute love letter from a development team and I hope you all at Black Tabby know how much we appreciate it.
