For all it's faults I love my town and am proud of the town's history, It has a mix of good and bad but it will always be my home.

No place is ever perfect, but we’ve got to love where we’re from. I do love the history of Paisley as well. It can be dark and tragic, but there is hope there as well.

@@AScottishOdyssey My family lost 2 in the Glen cinema and we go along every year to honour their memory. My great gran was pregnant with my gran and her twin at the time. She was a hardy woman who survived so much tragedy but kept on going till the age of 91. She's my local hero. The BBC show The Town that Thread Built was a great watch on how Paisley was in it's prime. The historic buildings in the town centre are beautiful and outside of Edinburgh I believe we have the most in Scotland. I've started a photography course and am dying to find the perfect spot to have the Paisley skyline in silhouette.

Your gran sounds like a force of nature. Have you been up Saucel Hill? You might get a good view from up there

@@AScottishOdyssey yeah taken a few shots up there. The view from the top flats of the old mills would be cool to have too. Dykebar Hill was also recommended.

I’ve never been up Dykebar Hill. The view from the Abbey Tower is also something to behold

@AScottishOdyssey thank you. It's something that should never be forgotten. All those young lives lost, it was just so sad. I always enjoy them and look forward to seeing your adventures x

I used to hangout in Paisley, when I was a kid. I do hope that things are starting to go well for the town again

I moved to Paisley from NI in November. Was initially hoping for Arran then realised its basically impossible, then Troon to be near a friend, ended up in Paisley! I like it, though I can tell it used to be a lot more vibrant. It's a quirky wee place!

Like so many places Paisley is not at its best but Claire you done well, Paisley is quite a big place, from the observatory to the mills and the history of the people, from the buildings to the Abbey and from the past witches until today the "Buddies" will endure🤠❤

The Buddies are a tough and hardy bunch. The town and its folk have come through so much already, and I'm pretty sure that they will see better days again.
