Skipton is great for a couple of hours wander. I particularly enjoy visiting for the Christmas Market. Always colourful and festive.

What a brilliant town! Thank you for the loverly tour. It's -10°F outside. Burrrr! I was going to go ski, but not if its that cold. Instead, I watched your video. Just wish I could have sampled the desserts. Hope you all have a great weekend! Cheers!

Aww Skipton, me and my wife have a real soft spot for Skipton. Have not been for a couple of years but we used to stay in a lovely hotel. There’s a fantastic market in Skipton and as you say lots of independent shops. I’m sure we saw Silver Fox moored up there on one of our trips there.

We were impressed with the town. Yep pretty surexi saw a video when the guys were there in Silver Fox back in their boating days. Someone has said the Christmas market in Skipton is worth a visit.

We drove through skipton on our last uk trip but need to go back and stop as looked loads of interesting stuff and you have confirmed that - Fred Truman used to love him in that tv show about pub games Great cricket commentator

Skipton is one of our favourite towns. Making videos has certainly changed the way we look at things so we learn new things too which is good for us old fogies😀

I still remember the multicoloured velvet chesterfield couch on a Grand Designs episode a long time ago, they do look comfy but are they? 👍
