It’s an interesting village, very close to me. Apparently it has a district heating scheme providing all residencies with heat and hot water from a central biomass boiler system. Its fuel comes from the woods; wood chips. Very forward thinking of the estate. Great video again, Paul. 🙂

Hi Ian. I didn't know that about the heating - although it doesn't surprise me - it seems a well ordered village with a fabulous community. Certainly is a good bit of planning from the Estate there. As an aside, I was (re) watching a DVD I picked a few years ago - a children's TV series called 'The Changes' (it is fabulous - brilliant story and well acted) and noted that some of the scenes were filmed in Miserden (they also filmed on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal too, and in The Forest of Dean). Thanks for watching and taking the trouble to comment Ian - it is appreciated. Cheers, Paul. 🙂

Hello Paul - greetings from Poland I'm very lucky because I've been to this totally unspoilt village before. Owned by The Willis Family, great care has been taken to maintain a real community spirit in the village by letting all the residential and commercial properties, so keeping out developers and second home owners. I love the church and that unique yew tunnel you have to walk through to get to church main door. What a shame it was so dark inside the church. The organ music was very fitting I thought. A fantastic video old friend. Gorgeous still photographs again.

Thank you Michael - one of my favourite places (it is up there with Elmley Castle) in the Cotswolds and thankfully preserved in perpetuity by the caring owners. Take care, Paul
